I was back in Leamington town hall in November for my third craft and gift fair there.
It was a chance to try out my even bigger fair display and I think I've managed to find a way to balance the bright colours, modern design and rustic display elements... well that was my aim.
Here is my cutie cousin who popped in to say hello - she makes an excellent badge model and assistant! I also had to share a snap of this little knitted ted I got from the stall opposite me. That face + the mustard trousers are just too much CUTE CUTE CUTE!
This quote comes from business boss lady Lori Greiner. Simply put it's all about how you have to be willing to put in the hours and the effort if you want to work for yourself and create your own dream job.
I'm not suggesting every creative entrepreneur actually has to put in 80 hours a week to be successful, but there will definitely be times you have to make sacrifices and put the business and your dreams first.
The run up to Christmas can be a particularly hectic time for designer-makers so it's important to stay motivated and inspired by what you're doing and remember what you're working towards. Hopefully if you stick it out, it will all be worth it.
